According to statistics from Nanjing Customs, from January to July 2025, Jiangsu's imports and exports with other member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) reached 198.84 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.8%.
On October 13, 2022, Jiangsu launched its first China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan rail-road international freight train, establishing a major logistics artery connecting the SCO (Lianyungang) International Logistics Park to the Tashkent logistics hub in Uzbekistan. Over the past three years, this fully loaded train has boosted trade development in regions like the Yangtze River Delta. Textile machinery, new energy products, furniture, home appliances, and electronic goods have continuously entered the Central Asian market via the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan rail-road intermodal route. From January to July this year, the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan rail-road intermodal freight train transported a cumulative total of 473 cars, marking a 32.87% year-on-year increase.
Currently, the SCO (Lianyungang) Logistics Park has established a multimodal logistics transportation system integrating road, rail, river, and sea transport. It has deployed six overseas warehouses in Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and other regions, significantly enhancing its international logistics service capabilities. All logistics indicators maintain high growth momentum, solidifying its role as a vital platform for SCO member states' maritime access. Statistics show that after a decade of development, the SCO (Lianyungang) International Logistics Park has handled a cumulative logistics volume of 371 million tons, with logistics operators achieving a main business income of 22.824 billion yuan.
