In this report, we have conducted an in-depth analysis of the changes in the Chinese agricultural sprayer market based on data from 2018 to November 2024.
According to customs data statistics from 2018 to the present, the Chinese agricultural sprayer industry has experienced significant growth and fluctuations over the past few years. 2020 marked a historical peak, with the export value reaching $803 million. In terms of market activity, 2020 also saw the highest frequency, with 7,959 transactions. This indicates that despite the increasing pressure from global economic uncertainties, the Chinese agricultural sprayer industry has shown strong resilience, and market demand remains robust.
Compared to the 432millionin2018,therewasaslightincreasein2019,withagrowthrateofabout1.5803 million and an export volume of 55.82 million units, reflecting a sharp rise in international demand for high-efficiency agricultural tools during this period.
Although the overall scale declined somewhat in the following two years, it still remained at a high level, particularly in 2023, which approached the 2020 peak with an export value of $547 million and an export volume of 40.76 million units. By October 2024, market demand further expanded, with the export value growing by 12.59% year-on-year compared to 2023, and the export volume increasing by 20.71%. Although there has been a decline since 2021, the levels remain higher than those before the pandemic.
According to 2024 data, India is the largest export market for Chinese agricultural sprayers, both in terms of value and volume, far exceeding other countries. The import value in the Indian market reached 103million,withanimportvolumeof4.887millionunits.TheUnitedStatesfollowscloselybehind,withaslightlylowervolumebutstillasignificantimportvalueof37.121 million. Other important export markets for Chinese agricultural sprayers include Thailand, Brazil, Russia, Germany, and Vietnam, with Thailand being the second-largest market in terms of export value after the United States.
