Issuing time:2024-08-09 Author: Back to list

Recently, data released by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles indicates that in the first half of the year, China’s textile and apparel industry overcame challenges such as global foreign exchange market fluctuations and international shipping disruptions, achieving export results that exceeded expectations. The industry has been accelerating its supply chain transformation and upgrading, thereby improving its ability to adapt to changes in overseas markets. In the first half of the year, China's textile and apparel exports totaled $143.24 billion, an increase of 1.6% year-on-year. Textile exports grew by 3.3%, while apparel exports remained flat year-on-year. Exports to the U.S. increased by 5.1%, and exports to ASEAN countries grew by 9.5%.
